M2 40M COIL UPGRADE KIT

M2 engineers developed a new coil using light aluminum 3/16” wire with a copperweld coat. The result is a lightweight  inductor with great power handling and increased Q to near 1000 resulting in   reduced losses. A coil loaded 40 meter element design was computer optimized for gain and bandwidth. For 2 and 3 element ,REDUCED SIZE Yagis the total loss falls under 0.3 dB! The question then remains: why even use a full size Yagi on 40 meters?

The new design is being offered as new complete Yagis or to UPGRADE OLD  DESIGNS like Hygain 402BA, Cushcraft, Moseley KLM. Force 12 and even early M2 designsl. Finally a product that can get improve  performance and simplify mechanical assembly. 

The UPGRADE KITS are easy to assemble requiring only  a few new holes in existing parts. All the original element parts are used and only one short 1” tube section is added..  The coils themselves virtually float in air minimizing dielectric loss. They are fully covered with a husky polyethylene cover and end caps. M2 has already done the computer optimization for the various brands listed above. The kits are complete for one element  upgrade. If you have an old  two element design you will need two kits. If you have damaged parts in your old design or want to upgrade to M2’s rugged element to boom mounts or replace your balun, M2 has all your needs to get you back in the air with exciting new performance on 40m.
